Investment in skills, training and equipment

Fleet Service Ltd (FSL) is committed to continued investment in the skills, training and equipment required to support the changing needs of the vehicle and fleet sector. As part of our ongoing business expansion, we are investing in additional specialist training for our workforce, including Electric Vehicle (EV) systems, tail lift maintenance and safety, and air-conditioning (A/C) systems.

This investment will ensure our employees have the latest technical knowledge and recognised competencies to safely maintain and repair increasingly complex vehicle systems. In particular, our EV training will help FSL develop the specialist skills required to support the transition towards lower-emission and electric fleets, creating a sustainable skills base for the future.

FSL is also investing in new vehicle conditioning and specialist workshop equipment. This will increase our capacity, improve efficiency and enable us to undertake a wider range of work in-house, reducing reliance on external suppliers and supporting a resilient and ethical supply chain.

These investments will create opportunities for upskilling existing employees, new employment opportunities and work placements, allowing FSL to develop people through practical, industry-relevant experience. Where appropriate, we will work with local training providers and educational organisations to provide work experience and pathways into the automotive and fleet-maintenance sector.
